Job description

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Location: Remote-first (UK based)

Status: We are not actively recruiting for this role but welcome speculative applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Analyst with extensive knowledge of SQL (BigQuery) and a love for Digital Analytics.

As a Digital Analyst, you’ll help solve business challenges and enable data-informed decisions through the power of analytics. You’re passionate about getting your teeth into challenging problems; you do this by exploring and analysing data to produce powerful insights.

Digital Analysts are responsible for the full lifecycle of analysis. This includes

  • Liaising with stakeholders (both internal and clients),

  • Defining requirements,

  • Suggesting improvements and sharing best practice

  • Collecting and managing data from multiple platforms, tables and sources,

  • Designing dashboards and reports, interpreting data and producing meaningful analysis,

  • Presenting your findings back to the stakeholders.

You’ll be an effective communicator who can articulate the real value that quality insight can bring to an organisation, why it matters to the client, and how it can solve complex business questions. You’re confident working with large amounts of data, using science and statistics to produce meaningful interpretations. Better still, you can effectively translate those findings for clients, stakeholders and non-data-folk.

As well as more extensive projects, you may be asked to provide ad-hoc analysis. This means occasionally working under pressure to provide fast and accurate insights into key business questions.

Perks of the job

  • 28 days a year holiday as standard (includes Christmas closure - typically three days) not including Bank Holidays

  • A genuine commitment from us and your teammates to professional learning

  • A very flexible and human approach to how and where we work

  • Plus, an extra day off if your birthday falls on a working day!

  • Additional holiday buy-back scheme (up to 10 extra days).

  • Three charity days a year - to give back to good causes.

  • Healthcare, wellness and pension schemes.

  • Plenty of socials and opportunities to hang out with colleagues, if that’s your thing, both remote and IRL.

  • Being part of a fantastic team, doing great work and having a bit of fun along the way.
